Can someone please help me suggesting any univ in canada with considers 3 yrs degree from India for Masters course. Preferably in place where part-time jobs are good and chances of PR / PNP are good and most imp with reasonable feee.

Sory for too many requirements, but my situation is like that.

No Canadian university accept 3 years Indian degree for graduate programs.

Thanks a lot for your reply..in that case, any idea which univ is flexible with credit transfer or course waive for work experience..also in a place where there are good part time with reasonable tutition fee.

There are quite a few universities which will accept 3-year degrees.

Carleton University: Should have at least one course related to the major applying for. Applicants who hold a 3-year bachelors degree from institutions that have received a CGPA average of 3.01-4.00 or A by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), or Institutes of Management Technology (IMTs) may be considered for admission to a master’s program, subject to the admission requirements of the program. Please note that meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission into the program.

University of Calgary, Masters in Science (Computer Science) : First class/division standing. If student holds a 3 year undergraduate Bachelor's degree, the student must also hold a Master's degree as a minimum requirement for entrance to the Master's program.

Concordia University College of Alberta, Master of Information Systems Assurance Management: Applicants with 3-year degree are eligible to apply, but other CGPA and course content requirements apply.

Acadia University: Normally applicants to this program MUST possess a 4-yr undergraduate degree (with a GPA of 2.67/4.0 or 70% in the last 2 yrs of undergraduate study) in Comp Sci or its equivalent (ie. a degree with significant Comp Sci and Math courses).

I'm interpreting this as: If you are a 3-year BSc (CS) degree holder (which of course has significant computer science and math courses), you will still be considered for admission.

Bottomline: Some of the Canadian universities are flexible with the 4-year requirement but not so much on the GPA or course content of your undergraduate degree. Please take the time to do a thorough research regarding each university's general eligibility criteria as well as any specific criteria for the Masters degree you are interested in.

My 2 cents of advice: Do not hesitate to email the University/department to find out if you are eligible or not. Please attach a scanned copy of your degree transcripts while emailing them. You will surely hear from them within a few days' time.

One more thing, I am not from CS background, did B.Sc ( Bio-tech ) from Osmania univ and have 5 yrs of wrk experience as customer service executive in an MNC. Open for any masters but prefarbly Management as I lost touch with sciences...

You have to decide your program keeping in mind your interests and job prospects... Don't think anyone can help regarding interests but you are welcome to ask on this forum about future prospects for management grads.....good luck!!

Mcgill University accepts an India 3 year BSc degree for admissions to their masters programs. It specifically states on http://www.mcgill.ca/gradapplicants/sites/mcgill.ca.gradapplicants/files/INDIA.pdf:

To be admitted to a McGill MASTERS program,
you must have obtained one of the following:
· Bachelor’s degree – awarded after four or five years of
study
· Bachelor’s degree – awarded after three years of study if
the school awarding the degree has a current NAAC rating
of “A” or higher
· Master of Arts, Master of Science, Master of Education,
Master of Commerce or Master of Business
Administration - awarded after two years of study beyond
a three year Bachelor’s degree if the school awarding the
Bachelor’s degree is not currently rated “A” or higher by the
NAAC
