Hi new here
I applied on Oct 29th as French IG and got AOR on Jan 29th. I had made an error and paid 500$ instead of 1050$ but corrected it after the deadline date. IRCC told me to send proof of my payment and I sent it right away. Then I stayed without any update till March 22nd when they looked into my file again and confirmed that they had received my documents. On March 29th, I was invited to give my biometrics, which I did on March 31st and now it's visible on the website. I would like to know the next step and when i will receive the portal. Can someone get out of Canada during this process?

Hi, I got my eCopr this morning. Here is my timeline:

  • Stream: International Graduate French (outside/hors Quebec)
  • Submitted: June 21, 2021 (Submitted at 3:53pm CDT)
  • AOR: Received Feb 2, 2022
  • Biometrics: Submitted and added Feb 1, 2022
  • Medical: Passed Feb 1, 2022
  • 1st GU: March 18, 2022
  • ADR: March 21, 2022
  • 2nd GU: March 21, 2022
  • ADR review: March 22, 2022
  • 3rd GU: March 23, 2022
  • Eligibility: Passed
  • Security: Passed
  • Criminality: Passed
  • Portal: April 1st, 2022
  • Portal Credentials: April 4, 2022, confirmed address and uploaded photo the same day.
  • eCOPR: April 5, 2022
  • PR Card: Linked April 5, 2022, photo in review.

Congratulations. IG stream seems to be moving. However essential non health care workers French seems to be stuck

Bonjour

J’ai déposé le mien le 29 octobre
28 janvier: ADR; lettre de demande pour l’envoi de mon reçu de paiement pour le traitement de la demande
29 janvier: AOR et tests médicaux réussis
Puis long moment
22 mars: ghost update: réouverture de mon dossier avec la confirmation de la réception de mon reçu
29 mars: 2e ADR: reçu de paiement pour les biométries
29 mars: invitation à faire les biométries, et je le fais le 31 mars
2e ghost update: je vois que mes biométries sont désormais visibles sur mon dossier
Et puis j’ai appelé l’agent le 4 avril je crois et elle m’a dit que mon admissibilité ainsi que les antécédents étaient entrain d’être évalués. Et puis c’est tout.

2 questions about the eCOPR (confirmation of permanent residence)
  1. Under “Application details,” it says valid to 2023/02/03. Is this referring to the validity of the eCOPR? I suspect the PR card will be valid for 5 years.
  2. In the email, it says “Sign and date by hand the CLIENT COPY of the eCoPR document at the bottom of the page under the IRCC officer electronic signature. Electronic signatures and dates will not be accepted.” Do we just sign the eCoPR and send the signed eCOPR back as a reply to the IRCC email? Or do we just keep it to ourselves without replying back the signed version?

Check your email, plus spam, if you got any email from any cic.gc.ca email or any canada.ca email.

Also search in your courriel with your UCI. Try XXXX-XXXX and XXXXXXXX. You should have gotten an email by now.

Try finding something else to occupy you, avoid checking these threads everyday as it's not going to help your mental health. As important as this PR is you as a person is more important to yourself and your loved ones.

I have a question on the AOR. Is the AOR an "Acknowledgment of Receipt"? Like, is this in the email?

Or is the AOR when they give you your Application ID and you can link it to your CIC?
