Hi Network,

I'm eligible for the FSW and CEC categories and I've accumulated 445 points in total (CELPIP - CLB7; TEF Canada- CLB5) with my application already in the pool.

My question is- Will CLB5 in the French exam (TEF Canada) make me eligible to get an invitation in the French language proficiency category?

Thanks!
Kunal

Look at EE french draws and see if score is high enough.

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding language exams: If I take the TEF Canada exam and achieve a CLB 7 in all skills except writing, can I retake only the writing skill or do I need to retake all four skills?

CLB 7 in all competences.
Thank you for your response, however, the TCF Canada says the following, it doesn't mention CLB 7 anywhere on their site.

"The TCF Canada assesses six levels of French knowledge (defined with reference to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages by the Council of Europe."

A1 not achieved
0 to 100 points
A1
101 to 199 points
A2
200 to 299 points
B1
300 to 399 points
B2
400 to 499 points
C1
500 to 599 points
C2
600 to 699 points

It's for 4 language abilities: speaking, writing, listening and reading. In each you need to have a CLB 7 score.
