I’m a French citizen with Canada pr status. I live with my wife in USA. She a Canadian citizen. My Canadian pr card is expired but my Canadian pr status remains valid because I live with my Canadian wife.
Although I’m still able to enter Canada by land as a Canadian pr, every time I had to go through a long validation process at the border because of my expired pr card. I don’t meet the criteria to apply for Canadian citizenship, nor am I eligible to renew my Canada pr card because I live abroad of Canada full time.
i wonder if it’s legal to enter Canada with my French passport without mentioning my Canada pr to avoid the long validation process at the boarder? Or if any better options?
