I want to know whether a freelancer would be considered as employed or self employed, if applying under FSW. There is no registration of business, just working for various companies. Does it depend upon how the company considers freelancer as employee or not? Or else in some general terminology, freelancers can be employed or self-employed? or is it on the basis of salary, whether fixed pay rate or quotes based work?
If applied as employed, reference letters from companies need to be provided, for sure but,
if applied as self-employed, job duties need to be attested from 3rd party, not companies? and registration of business also needs to be there?
