Freelance work - Can I use it for Canadian Expreience???

Hey All,
I haven't seen much about this topic in the forums. My question is: can you use Web design freelance work with one company for 6 months as Canadian work experience? And if yes. What documents do I have to provide? I have the letter of employment with the contract and I was paid by cheque twice in 6 months. the third month and when the contract was up.

Please let me know if anyone has done this before and how to go about it.

Thank you.

Unfortunately self employed work experience cannot be counted towards CEC:

Hey Scylla,

Thanks for your reply. What is considered self employed? I have a contract with all the details of employment and was an employee of the company. The only problem was I wasn't paid bi-weekly rf monthly. Just every three months and taxes wasn't paid. Which I will have to do when I file for my taxes in 2017. Would that still be considered self employment?

thanks in advance

Yes - that's definitely self employment.
