Free school for foreigner children of a PR holder?

I just got my PR, but my kids didn’t get it. I was searching if my kids qualify for free learning in elementary schools having TRVs.

I read a lot of posts saying yes (because i have PR, they qualify), but I didn’t find a single official proof. Any link to an official website that confirms that would be helpful.

It's unusual to obtain PR while your kids didn't. Are they listed as non-accompanying?

There is NO official website because it's policy for each school district to decide.
Some allows it, some don't.

Why did your children not get? How did you get PR? Were they declared on your PR app? Will you apply for PR status for them?

What province are you in ? I believe the answer may depend on province. In some cases possibly even school board. I recall seeing something in Ontario laws/regs but that may have been about university.

Also note: you must be clear when looking/asking about situation of children of a PR, children with a PR application pending, and children of citizens.
