Unfortunately you need to have money if you wish to immigrate. You will need around $1,500 to $2,000 to cover fees and other expenses such as the medical. You will need an additional $13,000 in savings to establish yourself in Canada (this is assuming you are single - it will be more if you are married / have children).

The point is though that even if lucky enough to get a genuine job offer and secure either a temp work permit or PR life would be extremely difficult arriving with a zero balance bank account.
