Franchise--How do I start in Ontario?

Anyone who can throw some light in to this would be great. I live near Toronto and I am thinking of getting a franchise for an India grocery store. I have not yet done most of the research but I am wondering if anyone knows anything about these franchaising.

Rahul, if we can afford $250,000 then we would open it independently...right now we are unable to afford that much and we do need the goodwill which the Franchise has.

In terms of franchise, No other business can beat 7 eleven especially toronto type area where lots of immigrants are living.

I agree with rahul0910's post that people mostly like to purchase food chain franchise which is benefit in every term. But if your interest is in grocery business then find some big companies in india then contact them to know that they are offering their international franchises or not. You can find many people and companies which help you in this scenario.
