Might be a good idea to start looking for another college as likely unfortunately to take a very long time for Fort Mcmurray to recover assuming the college has not been affected and is even there. Until the situation has stabilised probably no way to know the situation on the ground. You could I guess email the college someone may be monitoring the email although at present I would think they have more pressing things to worry about like staying alive.

So see the latest status on the college facebook page https://www.facebook.com/keyanocollege/ seems the college not damaged but as you would expect closed until further notice

Depends I guess when your course was supposed to start whether you put in your application anyway to get it started but in meantime as a back up look around for an alternative college

i would agree go ahead and continue with your application as cannot live with ' what if' this scenario or 'what if' that. According the college facebook the college campus itself has so far survived but of course a lot of city has not and until the situation is under control they will likely keep reviewing the current and new intake programs. So go ahead and get into the system worst case CIC may question the viabilty of September intake.

Thanks will go ahead and I know all will be well with fort mcmurray
So seems majority of city is intact including municipal buildings, schools and college so was right decision to go ahead with your application at this time but still keep watching the college Facebook for status on the college given the situation is still evolving and probably will some course adjustments.
