thanks the B4forms contains also food?for example cheese etc?like these things?for example they asked me to bring to Canada some chocolates from Greece,do we have to declare this too?maybe my questions look really ridiculous but i want to be sure thanks dearrhcohen2014 said:you don't declare money on the B4 form. the B4 form is for goods you plan to bring with you and/or "goods to follow". you are required to declare any money on you over $10,000 on the declaration form you will get before you leave the plane. you don't have to declare money not on you at time of arrival (ie: money in bank accounts overseas).
you can get a copy of the b4 form by googling "canadian immigration b4 form"/
the b4 form is for houshold goods, clothing, jewlrey, electronics. any food you bring will need to be declared on the declaration form. if you aren't bringing a lot of personal items with you, then the b4 is not necessary.ninakap30 said:thanks the B4forms contains also food?for example cheese etc?like these things?for example they asked me to bring to Canada some chocolates from Greece,do we have to declare this too?maybe my questions look really ridiculous but i want to be sure thanks dear

if you have just 1 or 2 suitcases, you don't have to fill out a b4. if you are bringing an entire wardrobe and all of your worldly possessions, then you have to fill out the form. no, you don't have to be specific. if you have 2 boxes of books, you write "2 boxes of books" and assign a value. if you have a bag/box of jewelry, you put "box of jewelry" and assign a value, if you are bringing furniture, you describe the furniture and assign a value, if you are bringing computers or tvs, you want to list them separately. you don't have to declare a cell phone or jewlery or clothing you are wearing. you only declare items that are beyond everyday stuff you are traveling with.ninakap30 said:clothing?does that mean i have to fill in with details what clothes i bring with me?or my mobile tel has to be declared too? ???
