Hi Guys,

My application is almost ready, Please advise all forms will gather with stapler pins or paper clips?

Regards,

Sarim

The specifically say no staples.....stick with paperclips

Strictly U-pins and no staples

Paper clips and bull clips

def paperclips

Me and my wife did paper clips for everything and binder clips where paper clips were not enough.

We used a total of 5 alligator/bull clips... one for each "section" (sponsor forms, sponsor supporting docs, applicant forms, applicant supporting docs, appendices - stuff like lease, proof of relationship, photos, etc). That was it, just the 5 clips.

I did staple the pages in each form (if there were more than 1 pages). So if a form had 4 pages, I stapled those together. I divided into three sections, and used bull clips to keep it organized.

My counselor stapled them as well. Hope they don't return it because of that.

mine went through the first stage of approval with no issues. I am sure you'll be okay. They would be more concerned and annoyed if you have several "forms" stapled together. I kept each form separately after stapling the pages together. I was more concerned about pages getting stuck to each other and getting lost.

for instance, my viber log was around 15 -20 pages long (screen shots only), and I stapled those 15 pages together and put it under ongoing communication section.

CIC don't say anywhere to not staple something.
If they care about it, it would be written somewhere in the guide.

Yeah, they specifically say -no staples-

Can you please show me?

they won't reject an application for using staples, as that would be non-compliance. but since the beginning of the process everyone has drilled it into my head that CIC does not like staples, since they just have to remove them all by hand
Sorry, it appears I'm not sure if it's in an actual guide or not! I was SURE I read something about using binder clips or paper clips only but, I applied in 2014 so i could be imagining it.
