Hello Guys,

I have Fixed Deposits in HDFC bank for my settlement funds. Can anyone tell me the format of balance certificate, I need to get from the bank?

Should balance certificate only shows the holding amount in Indian rupees or should I ask them to write the equivalent amount in Canadian Dollars as well in the same certificate?

The reason why I am asking this, because in 2010 I applied for UK Tier 1 visa and during that time UK Consulate wanted to mention amount is Pounds as well on the balance certificate from the bank. And it was really hard to get this it.

Thanks in advance
