Format of AOR

Can anyone let me know what is the format of AOR? I recieved medical request along with letter saying that all immigrants and certain types of visitors have to go through a medical examination. There was a reciept attached to this letter which has my file no. (starting with B), last name, no. of applicants and category applied for. Is this an AOR? I Also got CIC stickers
My time frame is

Applictaion recieved by CIC- May 27/11
Medical request-September 22/11
Medical Done- September 27/11
Medical Sent by DMP- Oct 5/11

Ecas showing application recieved on May 27/11. Nothing updated after that.

For me : The subject of the e-mail as " Acknowledg​ement of Receipt E0000XXXXX"

No this is not your AOR, but that's irrelevant at this point in your case. The mere fact that you received Medical request means that they already started processing your application, IMO. I already received my AOR by e-mail about a month ago but no mail so far. I already received medical and RCMP requests since then all by e-mail. Your e-cas should be updated soon, they are usually late at doing so.
