Form updates alert - October 2017

Heads up..

Forms IMM1344 and IMM0008 have been updated October 2017...not sure if this was last night or today.

Also says the checklist is updated but it doesnt appear to be..still an older version.

It was today, I checked about 2 hours ago and specifically looked at the dates and they were not yet Oct. 2017.

IMM008 and IMM1344 are showing as the 10-2017 date on the form. But the checklist IMM5589 was still showing as the 06-2017 when you get to it via the sponsoring your partner etc link.

BUT...if you go to the checklist via the "find forms" section on the CIC website you can get the 10-2017 one.

As far as i can see the changes are very very minimal...some wording changes and options changes i think.

We've been working on the application for the past month. I sent my wife the application forms that are now outdated, she is in Germany ...now she has to re-sign the new forms by hand and send them to me again via mail. Fantastic ...

Unfortunately we are at the mercy of CIC with this whole process.

I sent out the documents on 17th of Oct and they were received on 18th. In that time I didn't see any changes in the docs. Am I right? Do you think is it possible they send back the docs and ask to fill the forms again?

No, it will not be returned because of forms. Do not worry about it.

A bunch of July people, including me, were in the same spot as you, except for some of us the forms were updated before we sent the package. It was fine, nobody got the application returned because of outdated forms.

I am in the same boat. I decided to submit my application package using the old versions of forms which was updated on June 2017. As my signed forms are ready now, I am sending out today.
I finalized the application package today and before sending I found changed forms on cic site dated October 2017. But They clearly mentioned in the following page about previous version that they will accept old forms until 1 more month, I think we are ok to send out our application package using old forms until at least 25th Nov 2017.

They normally have a grace period with the older versions when they produce new forms. You should be fine.
