I am sponsoring my husband who is a US Citizen. I am going to sponsor him from inside Canada. We have been married 14 years. Which form is required to start the process?
We have just rented a house in Canada and we are only an hour from the Cdn/US border. How much longer will it take if I sponsor him from Canada and have him visit while we go through the process? All our belongings are in Canada already. We had no idea the process would be quicker if we remained in the US. I am a US landed immigrant but we need to return to Canada for me to get my BC medical back so I can have surgery. Any other info; we are most grateful. I am leaving for Canada tomorrow morning and will be staying there while I fill out the forms. I just can't find the form I need online for inland spousal application for landed immigrant status.
As stated above, he can be in Canada while an outland app processes; the outland process takes the same amount of time whether he is in Canada or in the US. Aquakitty also provided you with the link to the website; it's pretty straightforward and states right there "Get the Application Package", with links to both inland and outland packages.
Milesaway also gave you a good rundown on your other thread here http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/returning-to-canada-with-us-citizen-husband-of-14-years-t392649.0.html;msg4891151#msg4891151.
I suggest you follow the links provided and actually do some research yourself.
