Form IMM 5409E

Hi Everyone,
I'm currently living Canada on PR status. I'm currently applying for sponsorship evaluation and kind of stuck at IMM5409E. In question 5 Solemn declaration- do I need my wife's signature and notary because she is currently outside India and very difficult to obtain her signature.

Please advise

Hi

You need to read the guide more carefully. As stated in the guide, IMM5409 is only required when the sponsor's common-law partner is a co-signer. Given that you are married and your spouse can't even be a co-signer, IMM5409 is not required.

Hello guys, finally CIC contacted my wife for the first time since AOR, requesting for more documents to prove our relationship is genuine.

i just wanted the link of conversation that would help Indian sponsor to sponsor partner, hope it has cleared now.
