Form IMM-5406

Hi ALL

I additional family information form IMM-5406, section A what my wife should fill it as a dependent .She has to leave first row blank and write my name in second row where the space for spouse or common law partner ?? And also there is no place to say that it is filled by dependant, unless they the signature at bottom, How CIC will understand it is filled by dependant!!

that form has to be filled by your wife as if she is the owner of that form becuse she's going to sign it...

it is to be filled by all applicants (Principal Applicant and Spouse are both applicants)

To make it more simple,

in your form, you are principal applicant and your wife dependent as general, and in same form for your wife, she is applicant and your are dependent, so all details will go from her family bellow like parents and brother sisters etc.

yes your correct, we sending 2 copies one is for me and another for my wife but my question was what she should fill in section A, becs if u compare with my form her name will be there in 5406, first column my name is appliccant , second row again my name as spuse !!

In your form you will be Applicant and will list name of your spouse in the spouse column
In your spouse, form he/she will be Applicant and will list your name as spouse in the spouse column
