hello they ask about protected person period . what exactly is it?from entry to canada or after you get notice of decision from court?

yes but still i didn't get that , for example if somecome come to canada as refugee on jan 1 2012 and court they make positive decision on dec 1st 2012 , which time will be protected person ? cause on physical and cit0002 they ask about it !!!
