Thanks Inspired for the reply.

I need some clarifications. I have downloaded 2 forms
1. http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/forms-formulaires/bsf186-eng.pdf [B4 E (14)]
2. http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/forms-formulaires/bsf186a.pdf [B4A (05)]

my understanding is the form B4E(14) is a compulsory form whilst the second is a extension of it and for providing detailed listings and select check box Form BSF184A . Also I may not use the second form and instead select the check box movers inventory and put my own excel list.

Am I correct?

Also the second form B4A (05) the box Document No. is not shaded

I really appreciate the replies. Thanks.

Hi All,

I hope someone can give me some advice here regarding the B4 form. I am a Canadian citizen (non-resident) and my husband will be a landed immigrant. When filling in the B4, do we have to fill in separately or together in one form? If we can fill out just one form, which box should be ticked in classification type? a former resident or a settler? Thank you very much for your help!

Hi everyone / shanchu
I got the same situation above with Shanchu and will land at mid of nov this year. What is the final decision for your B4 choice for classification type ?
please kindly advise...

Am I correct? NO, it's for professional companies. Just leave it blank.

Leave it blank, the BSO will help you fill in any blanks.

I really appreciate the replies. Thanks.

Thanks doc2015..

Hello there,

Iam doing my landing on the 12th Nov, my question is, is it mandatory to print the forms in LEGAL SiZE paper only?? or can I just print it in A4 size?

Thank you

So I am trying to make a list of all the things I am planning to take with me and need some help.
I am taking my desktop computer with me in my hard back suitcase but am taking out the components to wrap them separately in bubble wrap and anti static bags. When I list the computer can I list it just as that or do I need to list each component as I have separated it.

Thanks for your help!!!

Just list it as [model] computer + accessories. Total value $xxx

I used A4 and faced no issues at the border. Be sure to make 2 copies of the documents.
