Dear,
Yes.
You have to declare all jewelry, with printed pictures.
And you can't sell it for 1 year.
If you do, you will have to pay tax on it.

Hope it helps.

Dear,
Requesting you to read the first page of this thread !
It's from 2010, but all the rules/guidelines are the same even now.
It is very informative esp. the first post.

The last time you posted in "landing in Canada - all you need to know" thread and mentioned the B4 form, so hopefully you know the basics....

Hi DOC2015, Can you show me the Govt document or url that states what you have stated.
There was no need to declare or print pictures for me.

According this website "http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/newcomers/before-goods-what.asp"

if I married in 2013, all my wedding gifts (ring, bangles, nacklaces, etc.), is it belong to "Jewelry"? not belong to "wedding gifts?"

Dear,
If you don't have the receipts. They are still wedding gifts. Just get an appraisal from a jewelry shop/gemologist. That should be enough.

Hope it helps

Dear,

Take 2 B4 forms (Form BSF186): use 1 for "goods accompanying", and the other for "goods to follow".

The conveyences column is for those who are importing vehicles, bikes, boats etc
Check mark "Settler" (tariff item 9807)
If your list is big, then continue on Form BSF186A. (then you can check mark this box on the first form BSF186 - additional list of goods).

When finished, make a duplicate copy (one will be kept by the CBSA, the other will be stamped and given to you).

Hope it helps,

Keep the receipts with you, in case they ask...
Usually they don't ask.
