Form B4 (Goods to Follow/Accompanying List): How to ???

B4A is just a continuation of form B4. You can either use the form or create a new one with a blank piece of paper and put the items and their values, quantities and so on.

Or if after landing and after for instance 6 months i will travel back to my home country and when in coming back to canada i will be bringing my pet dog with me? Are pets carried be written in the b4? Weird question but im confused. Hehe thanks

Do Anyone knows how to claim the goods to follow at the Airport? I have filled up the form by listing all the items that are going to follow which were sent from a Cargo. Now the cargo had arrived and it is now at the Calgary Airport. I called Air Canada Cargo and they said that the boxes are waiting for custom clearance and it is not yet release. Do i have to wait its clearance or do i have to go there at the airport and clear by myself by showing the list that i have?

This is what I did 2 week back in Toronto.
Emirates cargo called me, I went to the cargo office with my B4 and B4A forms, passport and landing doc of my spouse in whose name the cargo came. They verified and handed over some doc to me and told me to go to customs for clearance , they gave me the address it was not far.
At the customs the lady checked all my doc and verified all the papers , ( be sure to take the passports and landing papers of all family menbers that became PR ) I was asked for my self and children doc. I dident have at the that moment , the officer spared me. Thank God. After she stamps and took copies. She will return the doc, back to you. You will need to go back to the cargo office and show them your cleared papers ( No duty for first timers at customs) they will release the cargo with a small fee of 90/- $ which I paid . all my cargo came home safely in one piece.

I used UPS Cargo to ship goods to Canada.
Once the goods landed, they emailed me the necessary documents from the Cargo clearance as the goods were personal effects.
I printed the same (Bill of lading) along with ORIGINAL PP; ORIGINAL STAMPED B4 and reached CBSA cargo terminal behind the Pearson Terminal.
The process took less than 3 minutes at the Customs. They stamped the necessary papers and asked to email to the cargo company which later delivered the goods at doorstep. All free of cost.

One combined B4 is enough per family. NOT separately. However, consider the following

I had one "Good Accompanying" form and I used more than one form for 'Good to Follow' as they would come from different locations; different time frames, also on two separate names (both adult parents) as I was sure one would be in the country to receive the items.

Also do not hesitate to include any and sundry in the list. You need not bring them eventually but it helps to list them as they can be brought duty free for as long as they are recorded in B4/B4A forms. Furnitures; Permitted Vehicles; sports equipment; Jewelry; etc. Hope it helps you plan.

If i have basic drug items such as Malaria drugs, Antibiotics and pain reliever, do i need to declare it on B4 form? What is the most appropriate heading - Over the counter drugs or non prescriptive drugs.

I have basic food items to start with pending full adaptation to eating Canada food, should the food be declared in B4 too?

Any accompanying Medicines; Food; Clothing etc for personal use NEED NOT be declared anywhere.
They do not have a significant commercial value. (hope you are not carrying several kilos)
Moreover many a times, CBSA do not even check the accompanying list or goods. I had 9 suitcase totaling 160kgs in all.
Remember NOT to include BANNED items.
