Are you following the Guide as you fill out the forms? The guide explains every question in Detail.

You will not have a UCI # unless you have had dealings with Canadian Immigration before.. This can be left blank----4. UCI (This is in Personal Details)

Are you applying INland or OUTland?

IF you are applying outland this is the guide you follow to fill out the principal applicant forms

What means this????? I need write something?? as far as I am aware that question has been removed from the IM0008 for Inland and Outland so you no longer need to request which visa office to send the application to

As mentioned above there was an updated 0008 form in November that removed the visa office question. Make sure you have the most up to date form.

OHHHH thank very much for the news, I didn't know for that form. There are another forms that have changed, also? For the Sponsor also???

we don't know which versions you have some forms were changed in August. just download all forms once again, fill them with all information as a draft, and when you are ready to submit, you simply download again all forms and fill "the proper" versions, or only check if you have same versions that are on CIC website.

Question regarding this form? Is this form only needed when applying outland? My husband is from Croatia we are applying Inland, so I didnt even notice this guide? Do you have any experience or advice for the inland application?

Is he already staying in Canada? If yes, you could apply inland. But if he is still in Croatia and wanted to apply, i think your application should be outland.


Inland applications takes much longer to process compare to outland. The good news is! there is a new program that allows spouses who are already in canada to have an open work permit so they can stay much longer and be with their respective partners while they wait for their PR application.

If your spouse or partner lives with you in Canada, use the Application for Permanent Residence in Canada—Spouse or Common-Law Partner. www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/spouse.asp

OR,
If your spouse, partner or dependent child lives outside Canada, use the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class.
