Forgotten Info in Application

Bad news for me. I just phoned about my sponsorship application and unfortunately my husband forgot to sign somewhere (I double checked this before I sent the application out but I must have missed it) and we forgot to do something with the photos (on the back?) but I'm not sure what that means. They sent the letter to me yesterday which means I should receive it either late this week or next.

Has anyone forgot to do something on their application before? Are they going to re-send us our application or will they just ask for the pieces that we missed? And finally, will we have to wait for another month or so before we will hear back about our sponsorship application? I guess in other words, how much is this going to delay us.

Normally, once you get it back, fix it and send it again, they put it at the top of the pile. Usually only adds another couple of weeks.

Sorry to hear that! I don't know if they will send you back the whole application kit if your forgot to sign something. Someone else who has experienced this might be able to answer you better on that. However, I forgot to label my photos on the back i.e. date, location, place, name of persons, etc... Anyhow, they never contacted me regarding this and approved me as a sponsor and forwarded the file to VISA office abroad. When my wife received AOR, they sent her some more forms to fill out. At that time what I did was that I copied the thumbnails of the pictures I had already sent on to a word document and labelled it that way and sent it along with the forms. Now, after about 9 months when I requested and received my CAIPS notes, CPC-M had made a comment (during my sponsorship approval stage) about application not being completed because of missing “photo information” but I had already sent that information in advance without them asking for it.

Pretty much what Rejessome said.

I had forgotten a couple of things and they sent the whole application back to us to add the things we missed and we waited 2 more weeks for the sponsorship approval. Plus they send a sticker to put on the front of the envelope with your info on so it would go to the top of the pile.
