Hello everyone!

Unfortunately, 2 days ago the Canadian Government sent back our application. We missed the handwriting signature on the IMM5669 because we only filled it out electronically. Yesterday I signed the relevant form without changing anything. (I did not update the form, I did not change the date, I just signed it). Then we sent again the entire application.

Now a big doubt: Did I have to update the form, change the date and then sign it??

Within our application, The Canadian Government sent us 2 pieces of paper. The first one is a general form where they say "you must address the missing requirements which have been highlighted on the Document Checklist . The second one is a green sheet where they have highlighted what we have missed, which is:
"Schedule A - Background/declaration (IMM5669) form:
Not Signed by:
Principal Applicant "

They did not to ask an updated form, they just said we have missed a signature. On the other hand, even if they have already scanned and filed our application, we are submitting again our application. I am really worried and confused.

Thanks for your cooperation guys,

Please let me know

Alessandro P.

the date you signed and the date on the form are different......if you have already sent the form.....relax and hope IRCC will not raise any further issues as it was only returned 'cos of missing signature..
