Did you file as a common-law couple or as a married couple?superkev said:What will happen now?? I have only just realised now looking through my photo copies. I have no idea how I missed it at the time
I didn't sign any of the forms that didn't apply to me. I only wrote N/A.Ponga said:Since that form is technically optional for a common-law couple, it really shouldn't have a negative impact (meaning your entire application being returned).
Having said that...you're at the mercy of the person that actually opens your package and does the cursory examination of the forms (checking for signatures) to know that it's an optional form.
Lol I was about to tell this.Ponga said:It was a Common-Law application.
I believe the form was filled out and included, but not signed...which seems odd, because it would have needed to have been notarized or witnessed by a Commissioner of Oaths.
*shrug*
Hmm that makes things a bit worse IMHO.superkev said:Sorry guys i mean it was the form IMM5490.... Not IMM 5409. Any advice??
They already sent you aor?superkev said:I see, can i not contact them? Or will i have to wait until they get in touch with me? Such a stupid mistake. So pissed.
Oh OK. In this case I think it's pointless to try a call.superkev said:No AOR, i only sent it on tuesday.
Not exactly.superkev said:Thank you for your help though. Touch wood they will just use common sense and let me resend the one form. How long will it take them to look at it? is it 56 days??
