Hello, I forgot to mention UCI on the application IMM0008. Will that be a problem?
Please let me know.

UCI Number is one of the most imp info to be furnished in the form. You are running the risk of package being returned.

Well, the below text is from the instruction guide, so may not be an issue as such considering it can be left blank if 'not known'. If someone has been through this before, they can advise you better from their experience.

Indicate your Universal Client Identification number (UCI) or Client Identification number (Client ID), if known (8-digit number). Otherwise, leave it blank. If this is your first application with CIC you will not have a UCI or a Client ID.

I guess it should be okay. With your personal details, / DOB etc etc, CIO office will fill in the details before forwarding the application to Visa office..

It should be fine.

did u send the copy of your work permit ???? thats enough ...they will get from there your UCI not from date of birth or where or when u came from,,,,,,ok

Thanks, I sent the copies of work permits of mine and my wife and also the birth certificates. Hope they will figure out.

Hey cec6305,

I did the same mistake. What happened to your application?

Hi waiting 84, I am a Dec applicant and I got my Credit card charged, waiting for the AOR. I think its not a problem if you have enclosed your work permit copy with the application.

Even I did not add my UCI number the first time I submitted. My application was returned since Sydney office was not satisfied with birth certificate from embassy. I noticed that UCI was filled out by the reviewer. So I guess it should not be a problem.

That's a relief. Lets see

Hello,
My application for PR under CEC was received on July 2nd/2013 and I have just realized that I have forgotten to put the UCI number.

Please let me know what is going to happen in a situation like this, will my application be returned? or does the VO have access to it and will find it himself?

Please advice, as this makes me very worried.

Hey waiting84,
I made the same mistake of not putting UCI in my application for both my wife and me. I filed it on 25th Nov 2013. What has happened to your application?
And do I need to do something to communicate the same to CIC.

This thread was started a year ago and waiting84 has already got pr - I don't think he's on this forum anymore
Rather than revitalize old threads, you are better off starting a new one
