Foreign worker travelling to the USA

I am on a PGWP that expires in two years and my Passport is from Chile, which in my understanding I dont need a visa to enter the US or Canada but I need an ETA.
Do I need to request another permit of some sort when entering back to Canada?

if your passport is visa free for canada then you need an eta if not then must arrange a visa.
