it's been 28 weeks according to my processing time I hit the mark. what do I do now I have raised webforms but no response.

Webforms you won’t get answer before 6 to 8 weeks

I applied by myself. Yes, LMIA closed permit

Very easy to go through google, let me try to find out link and I will send you. Mine close work permit my employer applied through the immigration lawyer and it was approved within 2 months.

They requested just from current country of residence, and didn't mention Pakistan.

No, you were supposed to send Pakistani PCC, I think this is the reason you stuck in background check, my lawyer attached my PCC from different countries where I used to live more than 6 months.
