Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster. I am preparing to apply for Express Entry (inland) and am eligible under the CEC criteria.
I am gathering my documents, and had a question about claiming points for Foreign work experience. I worked for 2 years in the UK as a journalist, and my former Editor in Chief has agreed to write me an experience letter to that effect. The only problem (i think) is that the publication doesn't exist anymore, it ceased operations in 2015.
So while she can produce a letter, it wouldn't end up being on letter headed paper. In the letter she does explain this and has included her contact details should IRCC want to confirm my duties there in further detail.
Claiming the points for Foreign work exp would help me climb to 505 CRS points without a Provincial Nomination (though I will be going after an Ontario nomination for my application) . Do any of you who are more well versed in the EE process think it is worth claiming those points even with the above circumstances?
Thanks in advance for the advice.
