Hi all,

I am new on this forum, i have a simple query.

For foreign work experience does a three years of Jr. Executive level job is equal to a Manage level job in same NOC. My NOC target is NOC 1123.

Do both titles have same points?

Thank you
Waqas

duties, duties, duties.

that's all that matters.
Then it doesn't matter if it was an internship or not? I had one year of paid internship after graduation with the same duties and responsibilities? Does this count as foreign work experience?

As a rule It shouldn't. But internship by definition is for those who haven't graduated yet and is typically of much shorter duration.

So I am surprised at something post graduation with 1 year duration being called "internship". How would they consider it a real job then? Where to draw the line?

Still I would say that if your experience letter doesn't use that word, it would be more appropriate. Else it would be at risk of CIC not accepting it.

They can doubt the detail of duties, number of hours worked etc more because of the word "internship" being used. It would be any thing but obvious. If it was paid in Canada, they would also evaluate the wage which should be around average wage for that NOC in that province. But of course this kind of estimate is not possible for work experience acquired in another country.
