Foreign (outside canada) work experience

Dear all,

When filling the form, do we need to have continous 1 year experience outside canada in order to get points for that and be eligible to submit our application to be entered in ee pool ?

I have similar questions about work experience. I guess you could Google some key words that may answer your question. Stuff like this generally requires a lot of research and reading. Let me know if you find something. I'm looking for answers too.

Yes you need one year continuous, full-time (30+ hours per week) of work experience in NOC 0 A or B.

Hey YamPower,

Thanks for your reply. I am trying to ascertain whether or not my work experience can be counted. I read on one of these threads, that working while in university (even if its paid) does not count. Do you know anything about this? The majority of my work experience was when I was a part-time student. The jobs I did, do fall under the 2271 and 2272.2 codes.

You do need a year of full time work in NOC A, B, or O for FSW. Look up program requirements for FSW or FST (whichever you are interested in) on the CIC website.
