What should be the same is all the work experience with which you will claim points about selected NOC.

If you apply in NOC 2172 for example, and you have 1 yr. experience in Canada in 2172, 1 yr. experience out of Canada in 2172, 1 year exp. in Canada in 2173 and 1 year experience out of Canada in 2173.

You can only claim points for 2 years in NOC 2172, don't matter in or out of Canada. And the other couple years in 2173 are complementary information but you cannot claim points for them.

it is bad news for me.

my selected NOC is cook,
I have a one year experience as a cook in Canada and 3year experience as an Engineer in my county.
So you mean I can not get any point from Skill transferability factors for Foreign work experience ( A) Official Language proficiency and foreign work experience = 0 B) Canadian and foreign work experience = 0 ).....

But !
I got point from my foreign work experience in EE already......
You think it is technical error and I need to delete that(forein work experience)?

Whether it would be a problem if I get a job offer for NOC code that I have only one year of experience, while another NOC code I have 5 years experience.
Which NOC code to select as primary - the one that I got a job offer with LMIA, or the one I have 5 years experience ??

My foreign work experience is in NOC 1111 (5+ years) whereas my Canadian work experience (1+ years) is in NOC 1112 - I got points for both (Cdn work exp and foreign work exp in Skill Transferability)

What was your primary NOC? Was it 1111 or 1112?
