Any idea how long it may take to get the final decision considering it’s weekend.

Is getting a Medical Instruction Letter a positive sign? I submitted my medical results together with the application but it expired last month (maybe that’s why they want me to get a medical exam again)

Did you submit an upfront medical exam or they requested you to submit it after you had applied?

Hi,

My timeline (I, spouse, and 3 children all below 14 yo):
- Job Advertisement: Sep 11, 2020
- LMIA Submitted: Dec 4, 2020 (LMIA Processing Time for PR Stream by December 2020: 22 working days)
- LMIA Positive Result: Jan 20, 2021
- Work Permit (including Spouse Open Work Permit) and 3x Student Permits submitted: Feb 18, 2021 (Working Visa Processing Time from Indonesia: 8 weeks)
- Biometric Invitation Letter (BIL) received: Feb 19, 2021
- Medical Check Up and Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) Requested by IRCC: Feb 23, 2021
- PCC submitted: Mar 1, 2021
- Medical Check Up submitted: Mar 3, 2021 (Medical Check up for 5 family members)
- Additional Medical Check Up Requested by IRCC: Mar 10, 2021 (this is a request only for my Spouse to give sputum sample)
- Estimate to submit Additional Medical Check Up: May 4, 2021 (as Sputum result can only be seen after 8 weeks from Mar 3, 2021)

I am curious that the working visa process remains continuing as not to wait for this additional Medical Check Up to be completed.
Thank you and I will keep posted if there is some update.

You should have heard something by now ,I applied from ghana too but my upfront medical never updated .
It is stated on their website that they process applications more quickly when they are not complex.
I have lived in different countries around the world and so background checks for me might take longer to complete.
Hi, Is there any Feb SDS applicants still waiting for their decision ?
I think there are! A number of people on this thread who posted their timelines for SDS applications are yet to update us with news of them receiving final decisions for their applications. Same for most non-SDS applicants. Seems there are delays everywhere, even for applicants who intend starting in May.

Hey Guys , Just received my PPR .

And for many people who've completed your MCA or any master degree in India. Don't worry you can apply for a one year program and still get your visa. So don't read all the "expert advice" from this forum and loose hope. The key is to write your own SOP and justify all the requirements.

My profile :
Completed MCA (2018)
Two year intership in a start up company ( provided experience letter and joining letter)
Visa Filled : Feb 22nd 2021
Course : Project Management (8 months)

So don't listen to all those foreign educational consultants and go by their opinions. I did the entire process by myself without any hassle. IMO to receive a successful visa decide which college and course that suits your previous education and work experience and apply the visa by yourself.

Since there were not many threads or discussions for MCA graduates in this forum , I thought I should share my experience. Feel free to reach out to me for any help.

Do you get an update/email when your eligibility review starts? I thought all this time since I uploaded my application they have been reviewing it lol
