First of all this is not CIC's error, it was an error in the system. These kind of errors are infrequent but are always a potential risk IN ANY COMPUTER SYSTEM (comparable to misplacing an important document in a different drawer). Sadly there is NOTHING CIC could have done neither to prevent not to be aware of this error.

Yes, if PR has doubled the posted time (I would say 50% tolerance) then people have to start moving, usually GCMS notes are a good starting point. Before that 50% has passed contacting CIC is a waste of everybody's time.
