Dear Seniors and Friends,
I am from Nepal and would like to apply as NOC code 0213. Before applying, just following the forum, really it is quite helpful new comers like me.

In the mean time would like to ask some questions. Do I have to enclose bank draft inside the initial application envelop and send to CIO or ? Is it possible to pay by Western Union Money Order? I am confused on this. Help.

Thank you all for your response in advance.
Samuel

Why don't you read the rules?

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5620E.pdf

No Money Gram or Western Union.

You can pay via Money Order, certified check, bank draft or via a credit card.

Have a good one!

Hi jamesbond,
Many thanks for your response.

For whom do I have to make bank draft or money order? Is it the CIO?

Once again thanks for your post.

samu, I don't mean to be rude, but it's all described in the link I gave you :)
It says: Pay by certified check, bank draft or money order payable to THE RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA.

Also, be sure that the money are in Canadian Dollars.

James.

Thanks for the post.

Hi samu,
Go to any international bank in nepal like city bank, standard charterd bank etc and tell them to make a bank draft/ demand draft of 550 canadain dollars per person payable to " Receiver General for canada" .
your money will go the right place, dont worry.
and you have to include it in the application to centralized intake office, sydney.

Do you know that you can also pay by credit card.

This way you will not have any problem is the snail mail is not functional in any area. Moreover they will charge your credit card only if your application is accepted.

I personally dont think nepalese Central bank would allow someone to remit that much using a credit card unless its a dual currency card. I went to my bank asked them to make a DD for FSW Immigration purpose. they were so professional and information rich that they themselve made the draft with the beneficiary address, i didnt hv to tell them. It showed they are pretty much used to making such drafts and payments.

I'd suggest you to choose CITI Bank NA, Stan Chart, HSBC, Scotiabank etc banks.

Dear Jnathan,
Thank you so much for your generous help. Appreciate you for your guidance and help. We have here Standard Chartered Bank, Hopefully this will work for me. One question raised to me while making DD, Do I make DD separately for each person(principal applicant+spouse+2 children) OR just make one DD for all family members?, since we are four members in family.

Regards
Samuel
