For studying PG diploma in nutrition and dietetics

I've completed my UG in engineering in mechanical stream but i want to change it for a masters or post graduation diploma in nutrition and dietetics.Can i change it and will it won't be a problem if I don't have any prior experience?

Is PG diploma valid in Canada?

What do you mean is a PG diploma valid in Canada ? Anyone can apply for a PG diploma course in Canada assuming they meet the college entry criteria. The OPs problem might have been in getting a study permit given engineering has no relevance to a course in nutrition and dietetics.

Does it allow to practice as registered Dietitian in Canada?

@Bs65 Well, I'm graduate in Biotech(3yrs) and Master(2yrs) in Food & Nutrition. Looking for a PG diploma programme especially in Nutrition in order to shape my career. As Dietitian/nutritionist falls under-regulated health profession and for the same 4years of education in nutrition is utmost.
Thus, to get the registration to such authorities I need to add up more programme so that my education wouldn't be a matter of crux.
Is it precise modus operandi?
