Hi,

You should apply for GCMS notes and find out the reason behind her visitor visa refusal.

However, its may not going to give you much details as it is visitor visa refusal.

You should prove the relationship (By providing marriage certificate, wedding invitation, photos etc.,)

You should prove your NOC level (By providing necessary documents, employer reference letter mentioning your responsibilities and duties, offer letter etc.,)

You should prove you and your spouse has sufficient funds to support the stay in Canada together.

You should prove your employment status (Payslips, bank statement) and your spouse's back-home ties (properties, assets, family ties etc.,)

I hope this helps.

Good luck.

Its totally up to you to either choose to apply with the help of a lawyer or apply yourself.

Using a lawyer is not necessary unless you have inadmissibility due to misrepresentation or deportation issue.

If you are good in doing research and case studies, the CIC website have most of the necessary information for you to apply. In addition to that, this forum has plenty of valuable information and interesting case studies of some awesome people. It is quite enough to prepare the application package yourself.

If you don't have time to do research or find information online. You can go with a lawyer. But even in that case, you should have some knowledge to make sure the process is in right direction.

You should also make sure you get a genuine lawyer with most updated knowledge on immigration. There are plenty of dodgy ones out there who will mess up with your application after getting money.

So beware and make a wise decision.

Good luck.
