hi everybody. can someone help me my sitution . ive been submitted my application for work permit in abudhabi july 3rd week 2011. iam still wating approvels. . and other things ive philipina girlfriend , last week i get married her coz sitution makes us to make dicession fast . i want to know, in embassy all my document is material status is single , what if i want to bring her canada letter . i can do this? : somone help me ?

if you change your status from single to married you have to notify the embassy thru mail and attached the marreige certificate. if you want your spouse to go with you in canada later see link:

Your spouse or common-law partner and children can come with you to Canada or visit you in Canada, but they must meet all the requirements for temporary residents to Canada: they must satisfy an officer that they will only stay in Canada temporarily, and they may have to prove that they have no criminal record. All applicants must complete and sign their own individual form, including persons travelling as a family. Applicants who are under the age of 18 must have their form signed by a parent or guardian.

If your family members want to follow you to Canada later, they must each fill out a separate application form.

Important: You may have to provide a marriage certificate and birth certificates for any accompanying family members. If you are in a common-law relationship and your common-law partner will be accompanying you to Canada, you may have to complete the form, Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union, and provide the evidence listed in it to support your relationship

hi im new hir pero medyo mtagal n ko ngbabasa s forum kse po mgaaply din ako ng SOWP wait ko lng n m release yung working permit n hubby ask k lng po puede ko po b isama sa aplication yung kids ko khit di ko p sila maisama pgalis f m grant me ng visa , my expiry po b yung visa n dapat mkaalis at a certain tym and wat visa aplication ang apply ko s mga kids ko eldest ko po 5yrs old at ng school n den yung youngest turning 4 p s march sana po m help nyo ko big help tlaga po itong forum mdami me natutunan dahil nga po dito di n kmi kukuha ng consultant kse po mhal din tlaga tnx po godbless!!

i'm back here in canada...job hunting mode again...no hassles encountered .. everything's super smooth ...sa NAIA, sa vancouver immigration & customs- the visa officer just asked why i went back to phils.? so i told him the reason & then stamped my passport & that's it... conneting flight to toronto, no hassle din...super ok pala talaga our visas...wishing someday to be a permanent res. din... ;D

yes i idid follow up yun medical result ko from the clinic ha (nationwide), after 2 weeks & after 3 weeks, siguro it took them 3 weeks before nila mapadala sa CEM...goodluck... ;D

Hi mga sis! I'm currently here at Vancouver Airport waiting for our connecting flight. I just want to share yung bad experience ko sa NAIA immigration. Hay, grabe, pinahold ako nung immigration officer kasi W1 daw yung visa ko, worker daw yun at kelangan ko daw ng OEC. Kahit sinabi ko sa kanya na spousal open work permit yun at pinakita ko yung letter from embassy, mali daw yung visa ko dapat daw WX-1 kung spousal. Kaya ask ko sa inyo ganun ba yung visa nyo? Sa kin kasi W1-Worker nakalagay. Hay, kahit nga may pinakita nang memo yung JAL na kapag ganun pinagbabayad lang nila ng travel tax, wala nang OEC, aba ayaw pa rin kasi 2010 pa daw yung memo baka daw may bago na. Hay, grabe, umiiyak na nga kami ng mga anak ko dun kasi akala namin di na kami matuloy. Ang nangyari talagang hindi sya ang pumirma dun sa papel na pina fill out sa kin, ayaw nya talaga na sya ang mag OK. Tapos inexplain sa kin nung isa na mali nga daw ung visa ko kaya kami hinold. Mas marunong pa sila sa Canadian Embassy. E hindi na lang ako nagsalita, hay, talaga. In-assist na tuloy kami nung attendant ng JAL hanggang sa waiting area for boarding. Samantalang dito ang bilis lang sa immigration. Tinanong lang kung saan kami mag stay, kung mag work ako or mag study. Ganun lang tapos ok na binigyan na kami work permit and study permit. Sana yung mga susunod hindi na maexperience yung ganun. Bakit kaya hindi nila alam yun, nagtulung tulong pa sila (mga immmigration officer na mali nga daw yung visa ko, yung isang lalake halos sumisigaw na sabi nya ang embassy ang nagkamali hindi naman daw ako, gusto ko sana sabihin, "Galit ka?" hehehe, pero di ko na lang pinatulan. Yun lang, pero dito sa Vancouver ok naman. Thanks sa inyo.

Hi Jewelle! Not sure what kind of VISA, maybe study permit pero yung younger di ako sure e. Dun sa expiration meron, yung samin ang expiration ng visa e same din sa expiration ng work permit ni hubby. So pwede sila sumunod basta hindi pa expired ang visa.

Hi faithyou! Buti ka pa walang hassles. W-1 din ba yung visa mo? Nagtataka kasi ako kung pareho tayo bakit di alam ng mga immigration officers sa NAIA e parang andami na umaalis na may ganitong visa or baka absent yung may alam, hehe, or mali talaga ang visa ko? Sis, W-1 din ang classification ko and worker din nakalagay. Nagkataon na yung mga taong mga pumasok nung araw na yun eh mga wala sa sarili. Ang hirap naman sa NAIA bakit ganun ang mga officers nila. Dapat well-informed sila! Of all people dapat sila ang nakakakabisado nun. Hay. Pero buti nalang pinatuloy kayo. Meron sa ibang forum eh nakipag away talaga sa officer tapos sinabihan sya na maghanap ng mabait na officer. Hay. Dapat may memo na sa NAIA regarding our class of visa. Hindi ko din alam gagawin ko kung nagkataon na ganyan nangyari sakin.

Sa mga sis na susunod... sana makakuha kayo ng printed document na nagsusupport na W-1 ang classification natin para naman ma-enlighten ang mga nsa NAIA. I hope everything will be well with you. God bless!

sis, sa sept 24 pa ang alis ko, PAL ako.. ano ba yan? parang kinakabahan ako nong nabasa ko experience mo sa NAIA... paano ba yan? paano mo na convince about sa visa mo? help sis.... any suggestion sis? ano ba kailangan kung gawin?

thanks joychel, kse yung husband ko bale 2yrs yung m issue sa kanya n work permit so puede ko nmn pla i apply ang mga kids ko khit di p sila maisama balak ko kse muna n mg work para mk save sa airfare nila blak din kse ni hubby umuwi sa nov next yir so di p expired visa nila kung m grant nga kmi ,sya n susundo sa mga bata thanks po tlaga! help nmn po wat visa i aaply ko s youngest ko turning 4 p lng sya at di p ng skul tnx!!!! godbless!!

sis, sa sept 24 pa ang alis ko, PAL ako.. ano ba yan? parang kinakabahan ako nong nabasa ko experience mo sa NAIA... paano ba yan? paano mo na convince about sa visa mo? help sis.... any suggestion sis? ano ba kailangan kung gawin?

May I add, hinde ba pwede kumuha ng certification or a simple note with an officer signature sa POEA na hinde talaga need ang OEC since spousal visa para maiwasan ang hassle sa NAIA.

hi col.fox, i think it is not necessary naman na TRV ang ipapply, kc nung nag-inquire ako sa embassy for my daughter's application na 4y/o depende na daw sa akin kung ano ang gusto ko ipaapply Study or TRV, pero kung pumapasok na dw naman ung kid ko at papapasukin ko rin pagdating dun, then i must apply for a study permit, kaya un ang ginawa ko, nung nagsubmit ako ng application isinama ko na lang ung mga proof na nagschool na xa dito... nagmedical na rin kmi last Friday sa Nationwide, at 2-3wks daw they will pass the result to CEM,,, hopefully walang maging problema at maging mabilis din pag-approve sa visa namin.... buti na lang talaga nacreate ang forum na ito... marami na ang natulungan nito... basta pray lang tayo at kung talagang para sa atin ito, ibibigay ito sa atin ni Lord... haayyy mga sis...2nd departure ko fr phils eh JAL ang airline ko, very smooth talaga, the receptionist even asked me how to apply for the SOWP...very much aware sila about our visas na no need na for oec...
so hindi talaga maiwasan na makaencounter ng "unaware" na airline staff, so best thing to do talaga is to come early, mga 3 1/2 hours before the flight makaline na for check in para kun may hassle man eh maayos na sya early para no need for you to run to catch your boarding time.goodluck guys... ;D
