well, i guess so...CIC didn't mention any exception from pregnant spouse.But still it's better to call the visa office & inquire from them directly to be sure..

Hi guys im elayne from the philippines. i have some clarifications regarding the spousal work permit.

scenario: my boyfriend and I got married last May 5, 2011 and we got our NSO marriage certificate. and then May 21, 2011 the courier from Canadian embassy picked up my application and until now no mails or replies from the embassy.
1. Just wondering if im still in the right time line because based from what i have read in this forum i must have a reply already?

2. do all spousal permit applications need to give evidences of the authenticity of the marriage? for example (videos,pictures,letters,remittances etc.)

3. My husband's work permit will expire on February 2012, is my application still possible to be approved?

4. may 5, 2011 was our wedding day and may 21, 2011 I passed the spousal application. is there any minimum months or years of marriage?

5. Where can I follow up my application? is it possible to ask about it in the call centre?

1.My passport is still in my maiden name since alam naman nten na my prob sa DFA pero validity nya 2013 pa? sabi ng CEM call centre ok pa naman daw yun pero worried lang ako baka mamaya dun pa mgkaprob?

2. Last March 2011 ngapply ako tourist visa my reason is to visit my fiancee that I have not seen for 2 years. tapos na deny, and then ginawa ng bf ko umuwe nalang siya to get married kaya ngpakasal kame ng may 5 tapos pinass ko application ko spousal work permit may 21 hindi kaya maka.apekto sa spousal application ko yung pagkadeny ko?

3. As of now we are gathering all the letters,cards,pictures,videos, sss etc just in case hanapin need ko paba ayusin un in a clear book or basta ko lang ipadala nalang lahat.?


sensya na dame ako tanung i really want to go to my hubby na.. miss him so much...

3 wks yung sakin pero i've read a lot of forums na and they had theirs mga 1 month pa.

this is just my opinion, pero tingin ko in your case.. yes you need to give evidences like the videos, pictures, etc. I was married 2 years before i applied but they asked me to pass those kasi my hubby was away then he went to the philippines just to marry me then after a month flew back to Canada.

You can apply for a spousal work permit as long as your husband's work permit is valid for 6 months or more.

i don't know if there are any minimum months kasi my friend was married Sept and passed their application November. We just don't know what the visa officer would think kasi in your case two weeks palang kayo married. They will be giving you questionnaires asking if it's an arranged marriage, were you introduced by a third party organization (online dating sites), etc. Kasama sa questionnaire yung mga questions about your wedding, honeymoon, etc.


5. Where can I follow up my application? is it possible to ask about it in the call centre?
Do you have the tracking number? You can check it if it was received by the embassy. When you call the call center, they would only tell you if it's in process already. You can only e-mail the embassy kapag lampas na sa 8 wks estimated processing time.

ok naman i think kasi nga kakakasal nyo palang. kaya lang yun nga.. hindi natin alam isip ng visa officer. depende talaga yan sa visa officer.

again, hindi din natin masasabi. What was the reason for you being denied? Pinoy din ba ang bf mo?

Hindi na siguro kailangan naka clearbook kasi yung sakin mukha lang syang scrapbook ng bond papers. ang importante is organized i think.

Yes, filipino bf ko bale before siya punta canada mag 3 years na kame mg.bf di naman kame pwede kasal that time kasi college student palang ako nun im just 22 years old right now and my bf was turning 27 this july.. tpos umalis siya february 2009 i think 3rd year palang ako nun tpos 2years bgo cya umuwe para mgpakasal na kame pero nung ngapply ako ng tourist visa last march 2011 i included some old photos of us kasi baka isipin nila kachat ko lang siya.. pero deny pa din..

may isa siya na frend march 3 ngpass ng application , march 28 medical and then last week of april visa dumating na as of now its already 20 working days since I passed my application.. i hope i can have a reply already this week. Sana maging mabait naman saken visa officer.. huhuhu

hindi ko pa pala sinama yung mga pictures videos pag nlng siguro may sinend na na questionaire.

Really? Calgary din kami ng asawa ko. San sya dito and san sya work? Usually kasi they determine if you have enough ties to your country of origin. Like if you have work, family, etc.

Paiba-iba nga ang timeline kaya don't worry too much. Mabilis yung sa friend nya. Sure ba na same sila ng papers ng friend nya? Kasi yung friend namin na napag compare namin is AINP approved na sya kaya siguro nabilisan. Or pwede din mas masipag yung Visa Officer nya. hehe.

Warehouse supervisor asawa ko sa willow park wines and spirits...yung frend nya na sinasabi ko na mabilis same LMO sila ng asawa ko same validity as in same sila.. the difference is that matagal na sila magasawa at may anak na sila nun... up to now no replies yet.. but i checked my tracking number sa air 21 website delivered naman siya last may 24, 2011 sa canadian embassy...may 21 pick up tapos 24 pa dumating ng embassy..

sana may reply na para makapagresign nako sa trabaho ko..

need ba may malaki rin akong money sa account ko? or kahit yung asawa ko nalang may malaking savings?

sis yung next reply nila is for your medical. Pero it doesn't mean na approved ka agad. nakalagay lang dun sa letter it's just to expedite the process. Tapos after nun.. 3 wks or more pa dadating yung questionnaire. so may 2 months ka pa ng pahihintay. Pero if ok naman sayo na magresign na, desisyon mo na yun. Ako kasi nagresign ako after 2 months of passing my application tapos 2 months pa bago dumating. Naging busy din naman ako pagresign ko. Pero sa case mo, kung maiinip ka, i suggest wag ka muna magresign.

About the funds, i think hindi required na madami kang pera sa account. kasi joint effort naman yan. So kung malaki savings ng husband mo ok na din. Alam ko walang requirement naman since work permit naman yan.
