@ vinzoy25,

i understand, sobrang stressful talaga malayo ke hubby...marami na rin naman naapproved na mga common law partner eh, need lang talaga to present as many as possible nun mga proofs & evidences... like yun payslips nya dun, proofs of remittances nya to you, joint bank accounts, properties na nakaindicate yun names nyo pareho, yun mga history nun communications nyo over the years (skype & YM),hindi naman talaga nila hihingin yun initially but better if kasama na sya maisubmit together nun application mo.meron naman instruction yun pag fill up ng forms dun sa CIC website.yun forms for tfw gagamitin mo & pwede rin mag ask dun sa call center nila if you have questions...tel # 8459200.

hope this helps... ;D

many thanks for a prompt reply, it really helps :) sana nga maging smooth ang lagay ng application namin soon, for now makikibasa nalang muna ako dito to gain more tips and ideas while waiting sa papel ng asawa ko.

Finally!

No need for PDOS for Spousal Open Work Permit holders. You only need to bring your spouse's OEC, LMO, Work Permit (copies).. sakin scanned and printed yung OEC nya. Was suppose to go to POEA today but finally nakakuha ng sagot ang consultant namin from other clients.

At the airport, have to pay terminal fee and travel tax.

Sa wakas. I can pack my things without being worried. :)

@ailooney

many thanks! :) sila rin pla ang courier...

sa BC destination namin, ikaw saan ka? araw araw ako tumatawag sa air21, may contact no. nila ako. nagbabakasakali lng na sila ang courier...wala pa rin sila napipick up for me and my kids.

goodluck and keep in touch!

@micaela

November pa application mo and end of april naforward na results mo diba?

So baka natabunan yung papers ko. try mo sis. God bless. Baka meron na yan soon...

@ailooney,

thanks so much sis! i already emailed them last 5/27, pero wala pang sagot....wait ko na lng sagot nila and base on your timeline, sana visa na kmi soon....

thanks uli and God bless....

ano ba daw dapat dalhin sa Canada? any tips, guys? Kasi parang may nabasa ako about mga gamot. Haha. :D

Hi, peeps! I'm finally here in Calgary with my husband. It's summer but it feels like Baguio in its coldest. hahaha. Everything went out smoothly and I had no difficulty except, my flight to Calgary was cancelled and I was moved to a flight 2 hrs later. But all is well.

For the departure: I just showed my passport, CEM letter and submitted the form for immigration (the one given to me by the travel agency. You can also get one at the airport kaya lang I advise na you fill it up before you go to the airport so you can go straight to the line). I also prepared by husband's papers just in case they ask for it (OEC, LMO, Work permit).

Once you checked-in your baggage at NAIA, you will be getting it at Vancouver before you go to immigration. Always remember that. Also, you don't fall in line with the OFW sa NAIA. Dun sa tourist/visitor visa. Then in Vancouver, you get to fall in line sa right side with the visitors as well.

Everything went fine sa immigration. The officer didn't even ask for Willy's papers.

Tip: allow at least 3-4 hrs before your domestic flight from Vancouver. It took me 30 mins to get my luggage and 30 minutes at immigration. You also have to locate your gate and check your flight. Para hindi nerbyos ang abutin.. look at your itinerary details really well. Kasi before you get to your luggage, may pila ulet so kung mahaba 30 minutes din yun.

Any questions? Will check this ulet if you have questions. Baka lang makalimutan ko na mag-log. You can pm me if you want to email me. Thanks and God bless.

GOd is really good.. ;) hopefully, next time kame naman ang mag-si share ng flights at landing experiences namin sa Canada. visit us here from time to time, para if in case may mga questions kame you can help us padin with some concerns. All the best!
