@mamaniavie, very inspiring sis ka sis, 5yrs n sa canada asawa ko, masyado n mtagal yun, lumaki n mga anak namin, sana mabait din mapunta visa officer sa min at sana maintindihan nya yung pain n malayo kme sa isa't isa, yes halfway n ko mag online apps waiting n lng ako letter of acceptance sa school canada ng mga bata, inaayus ko p din yung upload ko need ko merge files yung docs ko para magkasya sa 4mb, how mo ginawa yun? Saka pwede b ask if wat naging problem sa medical...worry freak din ako sis, tnx for sharing ur experience medyo gumaan konti mga iniisip ko...at the end of the day still pinakamaganda is be positive and always pray, tnx ha


P.s. san kayo sa canada?

Just new here. I was trying to google for an answer whether I'll be needing to get OEC and PDOS, and I landed in this forum. I am a silent member of P2C, i rarely participate because most of the topics are for caregivers. Dito pala ako makakatagpo ng katulad kong nag-aapply ng spousal owp.

Last I checked, OWP (Worker/W1) visa holders do not need to get OEC and PDOS, and only have to submit copies of the spouse's LMO, OEC, and PDOS, tama po ba? But the post was dated 2011 pa, are there any updates po ba, or the same applies now? Please help po so I can do something about it while there's still time. We are scheduled to depart on the 25th.

Btw, just to share my experience po, I applied online and here is my timeline as per mycic:

Copy E-application sent to call centre/submission confirmation - Feb 20, 2013
Medical Request (for me) - Feb 21, 2013
Medical Request (for my son) - Feb 26, 2013
Medical done - 1st to 2nd week of March (had some minor problems)
Request for additional documents (NBI, Spouse's Employment Letter, and T4 for 2012) - April 22, 2013
* I had problems uploading these additional documents via mycic. I inquired from 2 different cic email support about this but received no reply. I tried submitting the docs via webform, even if there was an instruction not to submit it anywhere else than mycic.
Original Passport Request - May 29, 2013
Scheduled for PP pickup via PIASI - May 31, 2013
Air 21 PP pickup - June 4, 2013
Received POE Introduction Letter - June 7, 2013
Received PP with visa stamp - June 8, 2013
*hoping to land before end of june 2013, july airfare starts to go high!

Hanapin mo na lang yung webform link under "for email"

College na kc anak ko, kaya malaki ang kelangan kong proof of funds. Yung binigay ko was a bank cert for a dollar time deposit. PM sana kita about it, pero di ko nga makita paano (you can PM me your email add siguro if you really want to know). Anyway, any proof of asset is good syempre, so that includes land title. Kaya lang siguro search mo sa cic kung magkano dapat ang pera mo kung ilan man kyo. You have to have proof of that amount siguro in cash, more or less. That is just to be sure. Pero dont worry about not meeting it in full, kasi may work naman asawa mo dun, and you'll be working there as well. Oo nga pala, yung iba ko pa sinubmit na docs were my previous employment cert, diploma and resume ata. Basta anything that will make them believe you'll be able to find a job there.

Can't really remember how i merged the files into one, pero i scanned everything and saved in as jpeg. Then like for the passport, I would have paste the pages in one doc using Paint or MSWord or Adobe Photoshop (this is the part i am not sure, pero i think it's Adobe), then again saved it as jpeg.

Naku, yan pa isang issue sa medical ang nakapagpahina ng loob ko. I had my medical from the one in makati btw, again i cant remember the name right away, have to search for it. Okay naman sila dun, ok lang maghintay ng matagal, comfortable naman waiting area nila. That's important lalo na sa mga madaling mahighblood Unusually, nung first take ng blood pressure ko, medyo mataas. That has never happened to me before, so dun ko first time nalaman at my age now na hinahighblood na pala ko. Tapos i have a problem in my ovaries, that i had a surgical procedure to remove the cysts. D naman talaga naging problema coz they only required me to get medical cert from my new OBGYN and an ultrasound, malayo lang kasi kaya i had to go back and forth. The only downside really, was that they can't find my right ovary anymore. Either it shrinked, or my previous OBGYN removed it without informing me.

Don't worry about the medical, as long as you dont have a communicable disease, you should be fine!

My husband is currently in Alberta.

Glad to be of help in any way I can. I know how it feels to be lost, quite frustrating, and energy-consuming! Not to mention, that you are here, taking care of your kids, some are even working moms pa, then itong pressure from your spouse and uncertainties in filing for this visa...you have to stop and breathe, give yourself a pat in the back, relax, and most importantly, say a prayer! God is with us.

baka ang tinutukoy ni pearlyshell ay TWP at hindi SOWP. ang daming kwento kasi kng bakit na delayed ang processing nang visa ngayon.
The best thing that we can do is to keep on praying nalang talaga.
