pwede naman high school diploma langm ilagay month labg sa resume mo n undergrad ka. Proof of funds sa husband mo kahit cad 2K lang, payslips. Para sa iyo bank cern remittance receipts, joint account nyo kung meron or property.

Hi minsky,

Just submit your HS diploma. I didn't submit na my bank certificate, yun sa husband ko na lang na may laman na more than $2,500 CAD and yun employment contract nya na nakadetail hourly rate plus other benefits and latest pay stubs nya. Sinama ko din ang property docs na nakapangalan samin pareho. Hope this helps. Good luck!

I don't understand why there are people who find hard to extend help like yun kakilala ni gandanglola na co-pinoy who had underwent the process of SOWP application pero ayaw sya iaasist kung pano gagawin.. Masarap kasi tumulong diba, kahit yun simpleng pagpapalakas ng loob sa isang tao, matters a lot.. So, let's stay the same dahil marami tayong natutulungan..

Don't worry [size=10pt]GOD is GOOD[/size].... alam nya kung ano ang desire ng mga puso natin ;D ;D ;D konting hintay nalang po at darating na yan... mas ok nga kung tpos n winter pra d kyo mabigla... kami ng anak ko grabeh d makalabas kasi ng -30 d2 sa edmonton, tapat lang ng bahay kami lumabas pra makapagpapicture sa snow ;D ;D ;D... Good thing also yung school ng anak ko just cross the street kya d kmi masyadong nagagahol sa oras. ang hussle lang naman eh ung pagsusuot ng mga jacket!!! imagine me and my son wearing 3 jackets + t-shirt, tpos my thermal pants na at double socks pa....para tuloy kaming mga robot sa kapal ng suot namin... ;D ;D ;D ;D.... hello everyone! im new here and i have a concern....
i was diagnosed of having a polyp in my cervix, the obgyn advised me that i should be pregnant immediately so my husband and i talked about our options (my husband by the way is a LIVE IN CAREGIVER in alberta and is only on his 6th month there so he cant go home yet). i also called the canadian embassy here in manila to ask any recommendation of the visa that i need to apply. the rep told me i have 2 options, the temporary resident visa and the spousal open work permit. i researched on both recommendations and found out that the i can only apply for a spousal work permit if my husband's job is under NOC 0, A and B, so i called the embassy again to clarify the info that they gave me... they sill gave me the same answer -- that even if my husband is a caregiver i am still qualified for the spousal open work permit (live in caregivers are under NOC C). now im even more confused! has any spouse of a caregiver tried this before? between the 2 options i wish to apply for the spousal open work permit if its possible. pls help me!

Hello ma ka-forums...read ko lahat ng mga msgs nyo, im very happy na lahat kayo waiting na sa visa nyo...pray and patience ang gagawin lang ha...wag masyado ma stress...
@ tips lang din...habang naghihintay kayo ng mga visa much better na kahit papano maybe u learn how to manicure at pedicure saka cutting ng hair, para at least pag dating dito kahit pansarili lang kc mahal dito at sometimes manghihinayang ka rin esp if ur helping somebody sa pinas...and also yung pananahi kc kahit putol lang ng pants...lahat pansarili lang ba para pagdating dito kc u have to be on ur own na eh..."wala na yung saglit lang naman sa kapitbahay pacut ng pants or saglit lang sa mall paparlor",,,kc lagi na kayo busy dito...
salamat sa mga very generous at God fearing person dito sa forum..im very thankful talaga...soon i know eyeball tayo sa Calgary sana sa stampede dito na lahat....

If your husband's NOC category is C... why did the call center agents recommend Spousal Open Work Permit? I don't know any of the spouses here who has a live-in caregiver husband. That's why when some of our kababayans were asking about live-in caregivers, I always answer them that they have a different program and that SOWP is not applicable to them.

Were you able to tell them that he is a live-in caregiver and he is under NOC C? I'm sorry but among us here in the forum, I can't recall anyone having the same situation as yours. we might not be able to answer you about that. If you could call the call center again and clarify that your husband's NOC category is C and you read that SOWP requires a NOC category 0,A or B, and maybe express your confusion about it, it might help. I have a lot of live-in caregiver friends and none of them had their spouses apply for SOWP. If they still say that you're ok to apply.. please post here so I could also tell my friends. Thanks.

Please enlighten me once again. Nag fill up ako ng application ng anak ko for his open work permit, he is qualified for Pilot Project for Working-Age (18-22 yrs. old) Dependent Children to Alberta. Here are some questions kasi medyo naconfuse ako at this time di na kami nagpa-assist sa consultant.

1. In Family Information - Type of Application Worker or Other, kasi before sa consultant namin ang inilagay nya sa akin other.

2. In Application Work Permit - What Type of Work Permit - Other or Open Work Permit

3. In Education - ok lang ba ilagay ko highest secondary education nya BS Mechanical Engineering nya kahit 4th year pa lang sya? Also, I attached his High School Diploma pero yung transcript nya sa college ay wala pa pero may copy kami ng computer generated school registration from 1st to 4th year nya. Yung TOR kasi sa Feb pa ma-release but I'm planning to attach na lang yung claim stub ng TOR kasi we are running out of time to file this January dahil 5th month na ng WP ng husband ko.

4. Do I need to submit all the NSO birth certificate namin lahat kasi yung consultant ko lahat ng NSO BC at MC submit nila even hindi kasama noon sa application yung anak ko na lalaki? sabi nila ok daw yung kasi nasa Family Info yung anak ko lalaki at para malaman nila ng 2 talaga anak ko.

Any info you can share.....very much appreciated. Thank you in advance and God Bless!

P.S. Hindi kaya maka-apekto sa on-going process ng visa namin ng anak ko na babae kung mag-file ako sa anak ko na lalaki now? Pero ng tumawag ako CEM noon sabi nila hindi naman daw kasi they are assessing and dealing it separately or individually.

1. In my application, the type of application I ticked on the form was "worker". Sa case mo naman "other"... I see no problem whichever you tick for your son 'coz pareho nmn tayo may MR, I presume ok sa CEM... Pareho nmn po kyo ng case ng son mo n magwowork...

2. Sis, kung ako ang tatanungin, must be Open Work Permit... See this link, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2010/ob122.asp and refer to BACKGROUND 7.2 c...

3. He should state HS as his highest educ, kasi un ung education nya na attained na... Considered undergrad pdin po ksi sya sa college at the time of application.... But he can declare it through submission of TOR nya... un sakin po I ticked college. Ksi di ko po ntapos MBA pero sa history nilagay ko po un inclusive dates nun ngmamasteral..

4. Better po na isubmit nyo. Original NSO BC ng son mo po and photocopy of your NSO BC and MC.. And un BC nadin ng daughter mo po...

Dun sa concern mo po if mkkaaffect sa applications nyo ni daughter, ano po ang nilagay nya sa family info nya? "will accompany to Canada" po ba ang ilalagay nya para sayo at sister nya sa application nya? I suggest you call the CEM ulit kung yes or no ang ititick na box kasi po ang alam ko sby sby naman din po kayo aalis?...
