For PINOYS: Spousal open work permit to canada.. Share tayo

sis, that refers to the pilot projects for open work permits (working-aged dependents (18-22) of skilled workers and spouses of long-haul truck drivers - and these are for Alberta only), not specifically to spousal open work permit. I checked both CIC and CEM websites and wala naman akong nabasa regarding sa deadline ng spousal work permit (for NOC 0, A & B).

Ay ganun ba? Dami ko na din kasi naringgan nyan. pero kung hindi pa, better.

ang alam ko naman sis yung 2 months (8weeks) yung estimated processing time ng SOWP, kaya nga kung yun ang pagbabasehan natin pwede na talaga tayo mag-follow up... pero nung binigay kasi yung MR, meron nakalagay dun na "Inquiries should not be made within 45 days of receipt of your medical results as these will only delay the processing of your application".. hindi ko naman alam kung anung inquiry yung sinasabi dun.. kung about ba sa application yun or sa medical result lang...

pwede na siguro mag-follow up si hubby mo sis.. mukhang natabunan na yung sa atin... hehe..

thanks sis for the input.next week sis..pero sana dating na mga visa natin para hindi na kelangan mag follow up.

@ denissed, hello.... That's the spirit, girl... I agree it's now worth a try.. Please take chel's advice.. Include your conversations with the CEM agents in your cover letter. Although up to now, I still am confused about it, especially when I read job_seeker's reply to your post in the other thread... Pero, I don't want to discourage you but I only hope and pray the best for you. We will really never know unless you try kasi wala tayong reference dun sa case mo, ikaw pa lang if ever, and hope maging precedent... Malaking tulong sa mga co-pinoys natin na live-in caregivers para makuha nila family nila.. We will pray for your application.. Just keep us posted, sis... Always ask for God's guidance.. @ minsky, no worries... I don't think magbibigay sila ng deadline for SOWP. Canada needs skilled workers, and for them to stay there at di mahomesick, Canada offers this program para ma-retain nila ang mga skilled... Good luck on your hubby's WP application...

Sis, salamat sa prayers. Actually, after check up ko two weeks ago umiiyak ako nung hinatid ako ni hubby sa work kasi nakita namin yung estimated bill if ever na manganak ako sa hospital without an ALberta Health Card. It would be 5k to 7k dollars. Imagine kung may LMO and WP kami hindi na dapat kami gagatos nun. SO we've battling with our worries and fears for two weeks in a row.. kahit ksama ko sa work nasstress sakin kasi concerned sya. Pero GOD IS GOOD! Binigyan nya kami ng churchmates (cellgroupmates namin) na binack-upan kami. Nag email sila sa boss nila tapos nung ininterview si hubby.. tinanggap na sya agad. Open LMO yun. Although sabi din nila walang assurance pa din na mabibigyan ng WP, kinuha na namin yun kasi malaki naman din ang chance na magka-WP.

Eto pa. Tumawag ang HRSDC at nareceive nga nila appeal namin for expediting our LMO dun sa employer ko. sabi nila mag fax ulet ng letter from employer attaching our letter. Pero Officer pa din yung magdedecide kung expedite or hindi.

So given the 2 situations, we are still blessed to have options. wala pa ding assurance pero we have faith that everything will work out fine because of God's favor. Prob pa nga kung 2 LMO lumabas ehehehe...

By the way, WP online applications are now just 13 days processing....

hi mam ask ko lang. okay lang ba transcript from school lang at diploma nung HS? college undergrad kasi asawa ko, ang tagal kasi talga ng sa DFA, okay lang kaya yun? ayan nalang talga hinhintay namin naka ready na ang lahat, except sa proof of funds di ko na sinama, mga pay slip ko lang. thank you po.

Hi chel12, thanks sa update about CEM...hihi! Gosh, sana naman matapos na ang backlogs na yan at feel na feel ko na ang anxiety at excitement nang lahat sa pagaantay sa VISAs Alam mo ba, sis, parang ako na ikaw coz everytime nakakarinig ako nang motorcycle sa labas nang gate namin, sinisilip ko agad at baka air21 na yun! OA sa anticipation, 1 month pa lang application ko! Hahaha! And everyday, i check this forum hoping na may kasama na tayo dito na nakarecieve na nang VISA or MR man lang. Praying for everyone here!

Kelangan talaga magpaka busy para di ramdam ang oras, enjoy na lang tayo while waiting plus matimtim na dasal...

Hahaha... oo nga sis.. malay natin Air21 na nga yang naka-motor na yan nasa labas ng house nyo diba..hehe... And mag ala-oxie18 ka, 1.5month pa lang, may visa na agad.. Libre naman mangarap eh, pero masmaganda i-claim na natin
