Welcome to the thread Jars! there's no exact requirement para sa proof of funds kung Spousal Open Work Permit ang aaply-an mo. check if your spouse's job falls under NOC skill class A,B or 0 tapos more than 6 months pa validity ng work permit nya. tapos you can apply na

thank you kenj!!! were expecting this january yung work permit ng husband ko.. kapag dumating na mag aapply n kmi agad.. ano p ba ang mga need naming requirements? sa akin, sa eldest ko she's 12 years old at sa youngest ko na 1 year old?

Hi minsky! First and foremost, welcome to the forum!! I've read your posts in other topics and I must say that you have finally found the right thread.... ;D

Sis, you are qualified to apply for Spousal Open Work Permit (SOWP) being the spouse of skilled worker (NOC B based on your previous post) provided his WP is still valid for the next 6 months... Backread and you will get concrete details/info for your application, and for your children as well... School-age ba or working-age? Please give us more info para we could help assess your situation.

As to the 2 years of work experience that you were telling us, it's true but for Canadian Experience Class (CEC). Your hubby qualifies if he has completed a 2-year full time work (at least 37.5 hours a week) under a valid work authorization, and got the minimum band scores for IELTS for NOC B. But for now, focus on your SOWP application, and sa children mo para makasunod na kayo sa hubby mo. Eventually, magkaqualify ang hubby mo sa CEC which is one of the roads for Permanent Residency for skilled workers apart from the Provincial Nominee Program (Alberta Immigration Nominee Program in your hubby's case).

Good Evening everyone! Dumating na po MR namin ng anak ko. 4:15 pm nag text yung consultant namin at sinabi na dumating medical notice namin ng anak ko. Di kagad ako nakapag post kasi nasa office ako kanina tapos nag attend ako sa church service namin kanina para magpasalamat sa Itaas at kakauwi ko lang dito sa hospital. Sobrang gandang bagong taon sa amin kahit na nandito kami ng anak ko na lalaki sa hospital now kasi na dengue sya. Kaya di rin ako makasagot sa thread kasi nga nasa ospital kami since yesterday. But my son is getting stronger and claim ko na kay Lord na magaling na sya. Hopefully tomorrow makalabas na kami kung patuloy na tumataas platelet count nya.

Maraming salamat sa nagdadasal sa amin dito at sa lahat ng tulong ninyo lahat. Sa Friday kami mag medical sa St. Lukes. Sa mga naghihintay ng visa at MR, I'm sure parating na yan kasi halos sabay sabay na tayo nagsubmit. Keep on praying and believe in Him. Sobrang saya ko talaga kasi after almost 4 years eh finally eto na malapit na malapit na kaming makapunta sa Calgary. Hi Jars, I'm not sure about the requirements of your kids coz I don't have any yet. Try to back read so you'll know ano ano sinubmit nang mga ibang ka-forum natin na may kids na. But for you, you may submit the following:


1. Document Checklist for a Work Permit
2. Form IMM 1295 Application for Work Permit Made Outside of Canada
3. Form IMM 5645 Family Information
4. Work Permit Information Form
5. Manager’s Check Amounting to Php 6,450.00
6. Your Original Passport
7. Photocopies of the Passports’ Information Pages and the Pages with Stamps
8. Two (2) Photos
9. Proof of Funds (Ex: Bank Certificate mo at nang husband mo, pay stubs ni hubby, T4 nya, etc.)
10. Additional Documents:
- Husband’s Work Permit
- Husband’s Employment Contract
- Husband’s LMO
- Husband’s Passport (Photocopies of the Information Sheets of His Current and Old Passports and the Pages with Stamps)
- Your NBI Clearance (Original)
- Your Birth Certificate (Original and Photocopy)
- Marriage Certificate (Original and Photocopy)
- Contract to Sell of an Avida Condominium Unit (Original)
- Your College Diploma (Original and Photocopy)
- Your Transcript of Records (Original and Photocopy)
- Your Certificates of Employment (Original)

I also submitted kasi photos of me and hubby plus remittance slips kasi we just got married last 2009. Para lang to convince the VO that we are truly married. I am not sure with your case since matagal na ata kayog married plus you have kids na pati.
