Sis correct me if i'm wrong WORK PERMIT application as in may LMO at Job Contract kana? no need na ng proof of funds dun. This thread is actually dedicated for Spousal Open Work permit application so iba yung case namin, where in yung iba ni-required ng CEM ng proof of funds yung iba vountarily nagpasa ng proof of funds pero yung iba hinde na. hello! based on your previous posts, you mentioned that you have a job offer and are just awaiting for the contract & lmo. even with your type of application (closed work permit), i don't think kelangan ng proof of funds kasi you're going to canada to work nga. provided that your employer gets an lmo for your job. correct me if i'm wrong na lang mga sis. pero syempre the decision will be up to the visa officer if you'll be granted a visa, based on other factors din. hth

In my husband's case, when it was his first time to go abroad, no required amount was specified but from what i remember we had a bank cert amounting to only 30k pesos. Isa yun sa hiningi ng agency.

ah, siguro enough proof to make sure lang na during the first few months eh hindi maghihikahos agad yung magtatrabaho dun. i don't exactly remember my then-gf sending bank statements eh, kasi naman i didn't want her to leave so i wasn't that interested

right! yung hubby ko din, nag-apply last year ng work permit sa CEM, wala namang pinasang proof of funds.

Yup parang ganun din naisip namin. Pang survive sa first month? Pero hindi naman siguro required. Yun lang naging case namin. After that, wala na hiningi na ganun when applying for work permit.

hi bro, sa case ni hubby ko, nagsubmit kami ng bank cert to establish ties to home country. nadeny kc sya nung unang apply ng work permit due to lack of ties (lack of ties ba un, anong tawag mo sa min hehehe... minsan di mo din magets kung ano gusto ng mga VO eh...).
