Hi All,

Anyone here who has tried applying to multiple provinces at once? Wala bang risk factor yun when provinces are considering risks for nominating when they see you are applying to other provinces too?

Please share your experiences. Thanks
Andun nga yung risk factor sa other provinces but if you can prove your ties and intent are strong, it's worth a shot.
Also, CIC allows it:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/pnp.asp

"The candidate is not viewable by other PTs in the PT portal if the candidate has a pending nomination or has accepted a nomination. A nomination is “pending” when a PT has indicated in the PT portal that they wish to nominate a candidate but the candidate has not yet responded.

More than one PT may wish to nominate a candidate; however, a candidate can have only one pending nomination in the system at a time and can accept only one nomination. Once a candidate has a pending nomination or has been nominated by a PT, the nomination must be declined or expire (after 30 days) before the candidate will become viewable to other PTs in the portal."

Hi guys if you have questions regarding IELTS and WES you can ask me. My profile is now in the express entry pool and I already have the required docs. I'm applying for FSWP last year however when I was about to pass my application the noc 2171 was already 1000 so I didn't make it.
Hi ITGirl, how to check if a specific noc in fswp has already reached the quota?

Thanks a lot

not required ung wes for spouse, pero you can get max 10pts for that. ielts mas malaki, max 20pts...this all depends on the what score you get.

for ee, there's no cap per noc. also since your profile is valid for 1year, if you dont get ita for 2015 then you're still in the pool in 2016.

Thanks, problem is wala akong ties sa provinces.. only friends in Ontario and Alberta that's it. So does this mean, the weight and chance of you being nominated by PNPs are the same if you choose "All provinces" instead of specifying a particular province?

Thnaks in advance.

The weight and chance of you getting nominated by PNPs depends on the strength of your application to the PNP. And the whims of the officer reviewing your file.
My friend got sponsored by a distant relative to the Alberta PNP so you might want to look there when they reopen next year. Ontario right now recognizes FSWP/CEC rules (direct relatives only) but I've read of some people here declaring friends in ON as ties.

heard the same thing as well. last june/july docs stated family, work, or investments as ties. but i've been hearing recently about people getting ita witout relatives...crs are kinda high though, like for fsw they're around 480+ or something.

Nabasa ko sa cic "If you have work experience in Canada as a home child care provider, you may be able to apply for permanent residence through the Caring for Children Pathway." When I have experience in Canada as a home child care provider for 24months, pwede ako magapply for PR.

This pathway is only one of three from caregiver pathway.
Siguro for now work permit with my brother muna aantayin ko then work to gain the 24 month experience. Then I can apply for PR if my understanding is correct.

I am in NOC skill A because BSN graduate po ako noc 3012.
Like I said, I'm not 100% sure if that's the case. I just wanted to let you know na may naaalala ako na ganung sinabi sakin. My sister is also a nurse there in the Philippines and gusto niyang pumunta dito, but we are not looking into the Caregiver path kasi yun nga yung naaalala kong sabi samin.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/caregiver/apply-who.asp
Baka may ibang application process for them..

I don't have any relatives in ON. Only professional and social ties, however, they did send me territorial interest to apply. Sana manominate ako

Need help to start EE .
1. ECA WES results received - 4 years Bachelors Degree
2. IELTS - CLB 7 as I checked .
3. NOC - 2133
4. Work experience 12+ Years.

I am not sure what else to prepare with before I start to create an Express Entry.

salamat in advance.

It's all on the CIC site: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp

But...

(Please note that this info does not apply to the Federal Skilled Trades Program)

1) Determine your eligibility by doing this CIC quiz http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp

2) Get your language test(s) done. You must get at least CLB 7 in each of the four sections for the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) streams. But getting CLB 10 gives you maximum points for language.

How does CLB match back to the language tests? That info is here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/charts.asp

3) Get your qualifications assessed by doing an Education Credential Assessment. Details here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp

4) Determine the code that best applies to you on the National Occupation Classification (NOC) list http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp

The occupation must be NOC 0, A, or B for FSW or CEC.

5) When you have those in hand you create your express entry profile. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/profile.asp and register for the Job Bank http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/home-eng.do?lang=eng

You'll be given points based on your age, education, number of years work experience, and language skills. The points system is detailed here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

You'll be in a pool with thousands of other applicants http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/pool.asp

Of course, the more points you have the better. The max is 1200, with 600 of those points coming from your ability to snag a PNP or a job offer with a very hard to get Labour Market Impact Assessment http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp

For CEC applicants, the max is 600 but someone who has no work experience in Canada who is only eligible for FSW can only get up to 520 points.

6) Finally, wait for your invitation to apply (ITA). But in the interim you will need to do the following:

a) Have your application fee (C$550 each for principal applicant and spouse) and right of permanent resident fee (C$490 each for principal applicant and spouse) ready
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp

b) Identify how you will provide proof of funds http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

c) check out what is required for the police certificates http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/information/security/police-cert/index.asp

d) find out how long it takes to get a date for the medical exam. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp

e) contact previous and current employers about them providing job letters. You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week. Work experience while you were a full-time student does not count.

f) research cities in the province(s) where you want to live.
