Just checked my application now, after I read amjk28's post, and same, my application was "updated" and my background check changed to "in progress". I also did not receive any notification email (as of yet).

Uy, I'm so happy for you talaga. Sana magtuloy tuloy na and it won't take long anymore before our PPR
Kahapon yun ng in progress, and just now nareceive ko yung email about status update.
Let's keep on praying... Sana soon na talaga.

Ah okay, via consultant ka pala. Actually wala ako nareceive na email. I minimized checking my cic. Mga 2x a week nalang and I usually do it every lunch break dito sa office. Kahapon, out of the blue bigla ko naisip buksan mga 4pm, and I saw my application in Updated status tapos pagopen ko BG in progress na. Pero until now wala pa rin ako email. Hopefully PPR na next. And to you and to all others waiting rin.

may email notification naman ako na may new message ako sa MyCIC account ko.. unfortunately, di ko pa mabuksan kasi out of the country daw yung consultant ko at friday pa ang balik daw nila.. so i have to wait for them to return pa bago malaman kung ano ung message ng IRCC.. OMG! ???

Malay mo, nag-advance ng RPRF si consultant LOL. #asa In case that's an RPRF request, you can pay it here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/inFORMation/fees/index.asp and sana that means nasa final eligibility ka na rin.

I am just new to this forum. I have already submitted my documents for Express Entry via Ontario Provincial nomination last March 21. However, they requested for a Japan Police Clearance and it took me almost 2 months (standard processing of Japanese Embassy) to upload my police clearance. My question is, does the 6 months target of CIC applies to the date you have first submitted your documents or the date you have completed all your requirements?

Hi there. 6 months is as per CIC target po. If you are to apply for PNP that will add another around 6 months in your application depende kung san province ka nag-apply. Nag-apply ka na ba ng EE profile?
