I'm new here, but thanks for starting the thread. Just like to ask, have you done your ECA yet? If yes, how did you do it? I am a graduate of BSHRM, just like to know what would be it's equivalent in Canadian Degree. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Search mo World Education Services. Go to their site and create an account. Download mo ung form na ibibigay mo sa University/College kung san ka graduate and they will fill it up with you and attach a copy of your transcript (which you need to request in case wala ka pa). When the form is accomplished, you need to send it to WES through a local post office kung san nandun ung school mo. Don't mail it elsewhere. I was fortunate that my school has a person handling WES transactions.

Just wanted to let you know na I received my ITA over the weekend.. Yes, pwede magupdate ng profile while you're going thru the forms, even after nakatanggap ka na ng ITA.

Would you mind if I asked how many points did you get, I assume you have job offer or provincial nomination to have a 886 points or more.

So CIC has started this program... some have been chosen and many more are still waiting.. let's continue to hope... we have started this, and hoping for the best..

Hello po pls help nman po under po kmi s application ng husband k s Express Entry nakareceived po sya ng ITA, ofw po ako dati from 2007-2009 at wala n po akong contact s dati kung employer need po nmin kc mgpasa ng cert.of employment pra s Express Entry ok lng po b n isubmit nlng ung dati kng contract any idea po?tnx po..

Good morning kababayan. Ask lang po, pwede ba iupdate ang EE profile once submitted na, ang gusto ko update sana ay tungkol sa job offer. Meron ako job offer, pero on-process pa lang ang Lmia, kaya hindi ma-indicate sa profile ko na may job offer ako kasi hahanapan niya ng LMIA number. Sa FSTP pala ang stream ko kasi welder ako.

Determination — number of invitations

1. (1) For the purposes of paragraph 10.2(1)(b) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the number of invitations that may be issued during the period beginning on February 7, 2015 and ending on February 8, 2015 is 779.

Required rank

(2) Foreign nationals who, on February 7, 2015 at 11:59:59 UTC, have been assigned a total of 818 points or more under the Comprehensive Ranking System that is set out in the Ministerial Instructions Respecting the Express Entry System, as published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on December 1, 2014 and as amended from time to time, occupy the rank required to be invited to make an application for permanent residence.

From what I read from other forummates, I think they submitted an "affidavit of explanation" in their application.

Last August 2014, pumunta rito sa probinsiya yung canadian employer together with operation manager ng kompanya niya, naghahanap sila ng welder. Since may ilan ilan na rin na pinoy na nagtratrabaho sa kanya as welder, at galing din sa kompanya na pinapasukan ko kaya nagpunta sila rito para maghanap pa ng mga 1st class welders. Nagpatradetest sila at nakasama naman ako sa iilan na napili out of 70. So start ng august, may job offer letter na ako, nai-process na rin ang trade certificate from alberta. Papasok sana ako dun as TFW before Dec, pero nagdecide ang kompanya na hintayin na lang ang express entry para PR na agad. Kaya by Nov, nag advised sila to take ielts. Tapos na ielts ko last Dec. Last Dec rin nila process ang lmia. Medyo mababa score ko pag walang valid job offer, nasa 432 lang based na calculator ng canadavisa.com
