indeed.ca , i get most of my interviews from there. Recruiters always go there to search for candidates. I would suggest you build up your linked in to reflect your resume with a picture and all that because that's the next place recruiters are going. The only thing is they want to ensure your in town before they call. So it may be best to get your address and phone number here first. Another thing i notice they look at is where you located. I live in Vancouver so since i moved a bit closer to the city ive been getting more calls.
Im currently contracting for 3 different companies (2 full time) so there's enough work in the industry , you just need to know your stuff.
